Applestore UK
Classy comment about the new store/uk sales service on Cult of Mac:
"I enjoyed the skeptical tone of this Reuters report out of London. The reporter, Trevor Datson, seems a little nonplussed by the shiny happy staff and boundless optimism of American corporate executives. With a slight sneer, Datson says the Apple shopping experience will be "resolutely Californian." That's compared to the British retail experience, of course, which is miserable. Stores are staffed by nose-picking halfwits with surly attitudes, who regard you as an intrusion on their gossip time or a potential shoplifter. Welcome to California, adjust your attitude."
Spot on...

UK Applestore (pre opening)
Due to open on 20th Nov 2004, still looks like there is lots of work to do.
Need self-restraint. Need self-restraint. Need self-restraint.
Lucky *when* I crack there's a great Japanese restaurant, Chisou, right around the corner from the new store to go pretend I just wanted Sushi all along and not shiny, white Apple kit.

Apple Powerbook 12"
The best travel lifestyle laptop?
It's certainly my best computer ever.
Max OSX is the best operating system i've ever used.
The Apple software is the best home/lifestyle software around. iLife (iPhoto, iMovie, iTunes, iDVD) covers you for pretty much all you will use on the Mac - encompassing music (and sync'ing with iPods), Photo storage and editing, home movie editing and DVD-writing.
